Carbon Peel Facials

Intensive skin rejuvenation using our advanced laser

Encouraging your skin to restore itself from the deepest layers up, helping to achieve smoother, more youthful-looking skin. Our carbon peel clients may have a range of complexion goals, from reducing the appearance of wrinkles and smoothing out acne scars, to deep cleansing and skin brightening.

How does it work?

A thin layer of professional specialist-grade carbon gel is applied over the face, penetrating deep into the pores and trapping dirt and impurities. Our picosecond laser is then gently applied over the top, activating the carbon further and stimulating the deep layers of tissue beneath.

It is the combination of absorption from the carbon and energy from the laser that provides a deep cleanse to the skin while simultaneously stimulating the dermis to generate a surge in collagen production. This leaves the skin thoroughly refreshed, with improved structure and elasticity.

What does it feel like?

As the laser generates heat in the deep layers of tissue, you may feel a warm, tingling sensation. This may last for between 30 minutes and 48 hours following the session.

Aftercare and repeat treatment

It is vital that you do not get your skin wet following treatment for a period of 48 hours. Following this you may be advised to use specialist skin creams for a period of ten days, as your skin may be unusually sensitive during this period.

Depending on your skin goals, you may be able to achieve your desired results after only one or two sessions, or a course of up to 6 sessions may be needed. We will be able to advise of this at your initial consultation.
